Sponsorship
We need your support to help us place Poets in Residence into Memory Cafes in your local area or across the country
This project provides a cost-effective and direct route to position our sponsors at the heart of strategic thinking around community care, and as a key supporter of active engagement and research around a critical and growing societal challenge, which rightly features highly on the Government’s agenda.
Our sponsors will associate themselves with a nationally significant and innovative initiative which has support from national, regional and local media, and a group of partners with the highest reputations and a combined marketing reach to more than six million people.
“There is widespread recognition at the highest level of government about the present and potential future impacts of dementia. The search for ways to enhance the quality of life for those affected is a constant and complex one, combining clinical research with innovative and creative projects such as National Memory Day.”
SPONSORSHIPS
Just £250 will fund an inspirational session with a practicing poet. Together, dementia patients and their carers will share and create memories through the magic of poetry. The session will encourage reminiscence using favourite poems and the creation of new poetry that participants and their loved ones can cherish. Your donation will enhance lives and create special, share moments through the power of poetry.
