Calling Memory Cafés interested in hosting free, fun, interactive poetry and memory sessions. We train poets to run them and we’ll bring them to you.
At the launch of National Memory Day, we asked you to create a poem inspired by your own experiences of dementia.
Our project is about the loss of memory to a life marked by potential isolation and exclusion and how the power of poetry can help revive buried memories.
The world’s first wiki poem devoted to dementia is to have its debut on Sunday 14th May at the start of Dementia Awareness Week 2017.
